Undergraduate and graduate students of the De La Salle University (DLSU) who are motivated to work on research projects in complex systems are encouraged to join the Complex Systems Group (CSG): Dynamics and Organization of Complex Systems. There are two ways to be affiliated with the group:
As a member. Members of the group form the core of the research team. Group members are to be given their own research topic upon entry, which can comprise their final thesis/dissertation research work. Additionally, group members will be prioritized for publication and dissemination (e.g. conference participations, schools, etc). Only CSG members are allowed to carry the affiliation in published material.
As a student researcher. Student researchers are those who join in one or more of the research endeavors of the CSG. Group members are automatically researchers of the CSG.
Those who enroll in research subjects as apprentices and/or interns are temporarily associated with the group, but are not directly given membership status and are not allowed to carry the affiliation in published material. Students who enroll in thesis subjects under the supervision of CSG faculty are encouraged to join as members to enjoy full membership privileges.
Students who work as paid research assistants in the research group enjoy temporary membership status during the duration of the projects, and may carry the affiliation for all the published material related to the project. They are also encouraged to join as members.

The Complex Systems Group: Dynamics and Organization of Complex Systems is looking for individuals who are interested in doing experiments, models, and/or theoretical analyses of Complex Systems. Interested applicants may apply through the form embedded near the bottom of this page or through this link.
Undergraduate students of the De La Salle University (DLSU) who have gained a certain number of units of their major subjects are welcome to apply for membership. Students under the Research Apprenticeship courses of CSG faculty members are particularly welcome to join.
Graduate students, even those who are new and incoming, may also apply for membership. Those who have obtained undergraduate degrees in Physics or related disciplines, especially those with thesis requirements, are most welcome. Graduate students are expected to have a preliminary research direction laid out in a draft research proposal. These research topics can be modified to fit into the main research thrusts of the CSG.
Join as a student researcher in one of our research projects!
The Complex Systems Group: Dynamics and Organization of Complex Systems is always on the lookout for interested and motivated students to join us in our research efforts. If you are interested in research opportunities (research assistant positions, internships, apprentices) please visit the Projects page or email the group coordinator at rene.batac@dlsu.edu.ph.
